This breeding is considered a line breeding. You may ask, “What are the advantages of line breeding?”  Well for the most part you have a better chance of knowing what to expect from the puppies. You also have a better chance of retaining certain characteristics through the puppies while improving on them as well.

I am doing a line breed because I want to retain and add to the characteristics that both dogs have. Both Carmella and Conan have great heads, excellent bone and sound structure. One characteristic that I am trying to improve on is pigment. Carmella has a well defined mask but not as dark of pigment that I would like to see. Conan on the other hand has darker pigment and I am hoping this is brought out in the puppies while keeping the define mask that Carmella has.

Carmella weighs in at 190lbs and ~ 29 inches, she is a show dog and is pointed with 2 major and 12 points. She shouldn’t have any problem obtaining a championship title. Carmella takes after her mother; in fact, you could say she is an almost exact replica of her mother CH. Windfalls Tangerine Dream. Tange is a very popular show dog and won numerous awards. Carmella father is world know Greco’s Titan I Did It My Way. At one time he was ranked 5th among show dogs back in the 90’s. As you can see Carmella has a great pedigree and breeding her with CH. Windfalls Conan The Barbarian will only make it better.

Conan weighs in at 244lbs and 33 inches he holds a champion title and it only took him 12 months to get it. To elaborate on how great that is you don’t start obtaining points until the puppy is 6 months of age. So it only took Conan 6 months to become a champion and he did all this while he was only a puppy. Check out www.smokerisemastiffs.com for more info on Conan.
