We use a variety of leather types to create our Mastiff Tough leather.
Retan Latigo Leather
Our latigo leather is unlike those hard and easily breakable pet store leathers. Our latigo is tanned using a unique process to give it that ultimate Mastiff Tough-ness and still have a soft feel to it. The latigo is vegetable tanned for strength and then retanned using oil to give it that gentle giant softness. Our latigo is soft and supple and used to create many of our high quality leashes, collars and more. Latigo comes in Black and Burgundy, but can be dyed a variety of custom colors.
Premium English Bridle Leather
Our English Bridle leather is very similar to our latigo and is also very strong and soft to the touch. One of my favorite leathers because it is very easy to work with and is very soft and durable. Our English Bridle is available in Dark Brown only. Our Bridle is soft and supple and used to create many of our high quality leashes, collars and more.
Harness Leather - Mastiff Tough™ Series
The toughest of all the leathers we use and the true holder of the phrase Mastiff Tough. Although all of our leathers are tough, our harness leather is the toughest out there nothing is stronger. Made from the finest quality of harness leather, this leather is think but at the same time soft and pliable. It has very little stretch to it and will hold up under the harshest conditions. Ideal for harnesses but we use it to create the Super tough Mastiff leashes and collars as well. Our harness leather comes in Tan (Natural) color, but can be custom dyed to a variety of colors.

The soft comfort comes from our secret tanning process which allows the leather to be oiled and gradually dried for ultimate comfort.
